Meet Thobeka! A first look at our heroes from Adventures in Aluria.

Adventures in Aluria is a board game that combines deck building, resource management, and exploration within a setting evocative of classic tabletop role-playing games.

Each player in Adventures in Aluria controls a hero (like Thobeka above) who gathers a party of adventurers around them and completes quests to gain resources and renown in order to win the game.

The players’ parties start in the castle surrounded by civilized lands, where they can get their initial quests, find adventurers to add to their party, and equipment to beef them up. Quests will require that the parties move out of the safety of the civilized lands and explore the surrounding wilderness.

The board is randomly generated through the use of tiles. Locations of quest destinations are also randomly placed across the board, encouraging players to explore. Exploring the board opens up even more quest centers and equipment centers, where parties can get more difficult quests that provide rich rewards.
